Whats the car lowered by? you can get away with 42's quite easily and 38's are a pain and look odd. Also down to your individual shell tolerances a lot as well.

bend the lips and yank the arches out, mine had way more than 9mm clearance at the lips on ET49 wheels at -100mm

The rear lips are well and truley flat at present and btween a 195 toyo 888 and the arch I have approx a fingers distance (not accurate i know) and that on a 46 offset

7j 14" et33 hear lol

Easy to fit IMO, take stub axel off rear beam, ultra thin cutting disc on grinder, cut odd the plate the stub axel bolts too, trim it a little fit to other side of beam, gives you a extra 10/12mm clearance

Once I update my project thread in next few days the pics will be on there

Using 175/50 tyres btw

So your rears will sit in further than the fronts?

No, Rose jointed bottom arms wound in 8/9mm, alloy adjustable top mounts moved accordingly

i had 42mm 15s with a 60mm drop and they caught like fook on my old hatch so went and bought 17s with a 45mm ofset and never had a problem even 4 up with no further arch mods amazing the difference 3 mm makes

my old sr lowered 40mm rubbed with 15 et49 with 195/45 tyres and you couldnt drive with 195/50s as they pushed into the arch lip. my current sr however has miles of clearance. so think it depends on the shell.
