how many miles on average do the fellow nova owners do per week and i dont mean a weekend blast i mean people wo use there nova daily, thing is ill be commuting from stoke to sheffield on monday then back again on friday, as im a student whos is coming home at weekends, my engines a 1.2 8v standard and had it on the road now since feb with no problems at all, just dont want it breaking down on me every trip!

I used to drive my home built 1.6 8v to and from oxford daily, til I realised it was costing me about £300-400+ a month in petrol lol

Used my 1.2 everyday mainly short trips i.e. max 20 miles per day in and around town. Gave me anything from 41 - 45 mpg and was fine.

I may have done 15-20K a year in my 1.2 when I had it.... Never serviced it for 2 years either lol, it only needed ONE sparkplug in all that time lol

currently doing 65 miles a day in the XE saloon.

That doesnt include the fortnightly trips to Watord (271 miles round trip)

i took the loon to dorset just before taking it off the road 600 mile trip in a let i had headache afterwards
