do i cut this round of and use some of the wires

I kept both halves of the round plug and wired it in that way. But lol it would seem thats not the "right" way!! Mine works fine!!
Green plug...hang on, thats an early Astra XE loom right?? Have a search on here. IIRC Ianiel had the same loom I (i also have this) and had a few questions.

The brown and yellow wire that goes into the green plug is for the diagnosis mate
I think the round plug unplugs from the rest of the loom? IMO you should use the square "multiplug" pictured in the thread I created that Pete linked to above cos it contains all the wires you need and none you don't.

I didn't say it wasn't right, i said it was a tidier and nicer way of doing it by taking it from the loom in the foot well.

yes its a early astra xe loom mate.so i dont need any wires out of the round plug then just the ones out of the square multiplug
do i just leave the green plug alone then
