MK1 headlights question

My passenger size headlight has H4 on the lens but no sticker on the back to show what make it is, it sits perfectly.

The drivers side is made by Lucas but doesn't have H4 written on the lens and doesn't sit as nice as the other one.

So, my question is are all the ones that have H4 written on the lens made by the same company?

There is a few on eBay but not sure if the fit is any good.

The Lucas ones are h4 but there not stamped on there

The other one is probably a hella, good luck finding one of them

There is lots for sale with H4 written on the lens, if they aren't Hella then who makes them? :confused:

Why not just get a pair of Lucas ones ?

It's what iv got for the Sport

Hey edd do they have chromed backings on them or are they black at the back I can't remember lol

The Lucas ones are black think the hella ones are too

Got mine off eBay £9 for one side and £24 for the other

There are Hella ones(Originally supplied on v early cars), Kinby units which are just rebranded Valeo units(Which are OE on later cars), Lucas unit and poss others.

i gave a load of hella and kinby ones away the other year lol knew i should of kept them
