my icv keeps sticking when i unplug it the car idels right whats the best thing to clean it out with:thumb:

Usually a bit of carb cleaner should do the trick.

Is that definitely the main problem, have you checked for air leaks?

Does yours run a AFM?

Any other symptoms??

go to halfords and ask for the pink and black spotted, idle control valve cleaner foam

No harm in having a go and cleaning it first!!

i always use carb cleaner, but give it a squirt of WD40 or similar afterwards if its sticky! and if that dont work try another idle control valve, and if that dont sort it out check for the leaks!

^ what i was gonna say, make sure you oil it after cleaning. All moving parts need a bit of lube.
