just wondering if im on my grandads policy as a second driver on his car and we will have 1 ncb this month can i put that 1 ncb on my own policy with out my grandad on it any helpp ....

No, iirc your no claims is only built up on your own policy, being a named driver only gets you on the road quickly, it does you no favours in the long run as it doesnt allow you to build up your no-claims!

i have heard something like this but i was also told that the ncb stays on the car and if you buy another you tranfer them over sorry cant be more of help.
