im using a piper 270 cam in my 1.3 8v ,& was wondering what timing was best ? ar is it a case of try n test from standard timing then adjust to suit ?:roll:

I'd of thought piper would be able to supply timing info.

So you've contacted Piper and all they can tell you is the duration of the cam you bought ? hmm ...

the cam was in an engine i bought ,

to be honest with a 270 deg cam use your standard pulley !! anything above a 285 deg then get a vernier
