c14se cutting out when coming to a stop

my gfs corsa sri is cutting out when coming to a stop at speed bumps,junctions etc

say you driving along coming to a junction or speed bump

you put the clutch in n the revs drop to 0RPM then bounce up to 950RPM
then cuts out

any idea's its fine when driving tho :confused:

As alex said the VSS could be faulty give same symptoms when fubard.

been told it may be low voltage at the TPS or ICV

Try and read the codes. Does the speedo work?

I'd also say vss, my c16xe has had 2 of these now but usually spits up the engine management light.

Try removing the vss from your gearbox and give it a clean, also see if any wires are broken.

Yeah i know but sometimes the VSS can pop off.

Id check the wiring, but its most likly going to be a case of a new VSS.
