yeahh swift a good one .. my m8s got a booted nissan sunny 1.4 on a carb n that flys .. if my polo handled it would be fine but as no lowering or anything its a boat lol
Nissan sunny's dont exactly have ground hugging f1 stance do theylollollol
swift gti is def quicker than an ax gt but thats if you can find one thats not rotten
Nissan GA14DE (Sunny, Almera) does seem a good bet. Cheap, plentiful and have a decent bit of poke considering.
Can you not do anything at all with the car?what about a 106 quicksilver?fairly nippy and handle ok.
205 xs is not a bad bet either, I used to auto test a 1990 one of these cars. Earlyones had twin carbs.
Very good suggestion! My mates daily is a Junior with a twin choke 1400 in.
They are pretty impressive. Hard to find though?

Sorry I was just thinking all standard cars were excepted.
Metro gti isn't a bad suggestion if you could find 1.

id either buy 1.4 metroid and fit the 1.8 motor, or find an ax gti and fit a vtr 1.6 8v. just grind the numbers off.
my mates 205 1.4 xsi was a quick little nipper.

Polo Coupe GT. Handle well and are very quick for a 1.3.
every small engined rental car i've ever driven has been ridiculously fast.....

as mentioned - phase 1 106 xsi (1.4 mpi) 100hp
you wont get much better combined with a half decent chassis.

so is the honda engine.. k-series :-/ -Two versions of Honda's i-VTEC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I-VTEC#i-VTEC) system can be found on K series engines
so i'm guessing the rules are stricter than basically 1.4 stock. cos an old square rover 414si(???) or similar, had 105-110hp & if it was stripped out & lowered, would be an excellent little oval racer, with its wide footprint, so i'm guessing there is more to it.

the k series is not a honda engine inn any way, it was designed by rover with government money in the 80's. not one part is honda. i-vtec is not in the k, vvc works similarly but is in no way related.
