Rev counter

hi
i just got a rev counter with no instructions. how do you fit it. there is 4 wires commin out the back. red, black, green and white. i'm guessing that the red and black are for the light. where do the other two go? is it to the ignition coil?

Black = Earth
Red = Live
White = Side lights
Green = coil

just had a look at the coil wich wire does it connect to? and what do you mean by side lights?

U will need to get another plug of a coil from the scrap yard, u should have a spare connection point on the coil were the other wires connect to it. connect it to there. also if the rev counter has got a light on it, u want it to come on when u switch your lights on. so connect the wire to your side lights or dim dip which ever u prefer.

connect illumination to green/grey wire (can be found all behind dash)
