Is it just my pc that is updating 3 times a day for the last 3 weeks? doing my fooking head in!

Don't turn them off you'll only end up with a compromised PC lol

Set a schedule for it to check and download when convienient (options on the windows update panel). Even better if you leave it on overnight etc

there are a lot of updates about at the moment... my work one is doing loads at the moment.

Yeah thats how its set just i switch off, suppose i will just put it to sleep instead.

when i open the start menu, the off icon has a shield thing on it when there is an update.. so it will automatically update then shut down. it is vista home premium

ive tried that cant find them anywhere. might have another look. annoyingly i cant find the cd that came with it

lol mine was doing this and i decided i would go through the get an advisor way that emailed me for about 2 week with install this do this, do that. then nothing was working so was put to the superior and then we worked together for a week, then i recieved and email from her today and it said just go to windows updates and settings then click dont install theese updates, i sent her an email saying, im sorry but thats just a lazy approach to thinks, i was thinking of doing that but i thought you would help, but that was useless lol.

Arrr, if it doesn't take you to teh right page, go to download > Drivers, select PhaseOut Model and AD77 > USB drivers

Mind you, thats for win 98/2k as SP2 is supposed to have usb drivers with it.
