Is The 1.3L engine the same as a 1.3 SR??

Is it the same and is a 1.4Luxe the same as a 1.4SR? My engine is a 1.2 with worn piston wrings and I was looking for a crashed but well maintained 1.3SR and the only 1.3s i cud find were 1.3l's.

1.4 carb novas are all the same

1.3 carb novas are all the same (with the slight variation on the carb for the early engines)

however isnt the Luxe an SPI model?? im sure it is

SRi is also different from the rest of the 1400;s

is the exhaust system not different on the 1.3 and 1.3sr as in the 4-2-1 manifold? Although wont make a difference if your just changing the engine.

Putting an SR engine in with a twin choke might make it run rich if you use a standard exhaust manifold/exhaust system

different exhaust wont make a car run rich, in the exception of maybe an injection car where the lambda sensor is.

it will restrict it a bit i guess though

and yes the exhausts are 4-2-1 instaead of the crappy ones

will the 4-2-1 from a 1.4sr fit the 1.2 head? Does it just line up? Then i'd heve to get the middle section form somewhere to fit to my Powerflow backbox.
