graphics are a grey area, alot of it has to do with the actual look/use of the car and if any originality is taken in or if its a direct copy/modified version of something thats already been done, which could be classed as a poor copy if not perfect.

I took a huge gamble with mine as they were my own design using the logo's of the company i work for which aswell as being paid for by the boss also had a good basis for what the car is used for lol . I got away with it but i feel the originality of the colour i used when painting the car coupled with the design helped carry it off

Just the yellow stripes if you do go for it personally.

We went for something a little different when doing a airfield trackday and we wanted to stand out !

Definetly don't have the big 'vauxhall nova' text on the rear bumper, or anywhere else for that matter. Its much more of a chav look, than the racing car image I'm guessing you want.

Its something that annoys me a lot, cars with all thier name badges removed, then a big sticker put on with the name of the car, whats the point?

Jonlem
14-11-10, 10:36 AM
I might add the stickers on mine were for one day only !

They were £675 mate but I swapped the pads for some DS2500 which were another £75, then ATE cool blue fluid.

Awesome brakes and cheap for a set of AP's

i'm sure i had a magazine article from 1997 or similar with a white gsi done in these decals, but not the crappy rear writing.... and it looked pretty good..

Not keen. Would look better if it was just the chips logo.

Errrmmm and are Autotrader, Mobil1 and Michelin all aware their logos are being sold by some randomer on ebay?! lol

i still prefer the red blue yellow of the rally cars...

I have the red, blue, yellow graphics but not to go on my blue/yellow/black motors... Just waiting for Dougie to turn his Belmont into a fully fledged tracker so I can abuse it with some stickerage :)

I think you should go for it, just don't get the Vauxhall Nova bit on the rear bumper, as said above. It will ruin it if you do IMO. You could get Vauxhall, would need to be in the correct font though.

And Trowbridge eh? We spend a fair bit of time across there :thumb:

Agree with lynz on just having vauxhall on the rear bumper. I'd use the font your putting on the roof 'vauxhall' sticker for this. If you get it all on make up your mind as soon as possible as to keeping it on . Girl I went out with a few years ago had horrible stickers up the side of her White Leon for a few months. When they were removed there was a massive difference in the shades under where the stickers had been.

But I say go for it if that's all it's going to cost you!

Why pay to advertise someone elses product? sort of the opposite of what sponsorship is about.
Go for the yellow swipes, but loose the michelin and mobil stickers unless ur getting a deal from them. the oil u can hide, but would look silly with michellin stickers and then anything but those tyres on the car.
