View Full Version : Painting GTE Wrap Around Spoiler
Does anybody know how much a bodyshop would charge to prep and paint a gte wrap around spoiler? Cheers.
Yes...
The body shop will.
I know that a bodyshop would paint it but I want to know how much they would charge.
No you asked if anyone knows how much, and I said yes, the body shop will...
I can guess if you like? somewhere between £20 and £150. Depends on far too much, and varies too much for anyone on here to tell you, start ringing round.
Exactly, I asked "does anybody know how much a bodyshop would charge" not "does anybody know how".
I would say aroun £60 for a fairly good job in a metalic colour, maybe closer to £40 if its a Flat colour..
Am sure you will find much cheapper and much dearer quotes, all depends on the quality and the condition of the spoiler now!
Hope this helps, and I really can't understand why people post criticism..
I would be getting it painted glacier white. A couple of my friends work in bodyshops so ill get in touch with them and ask for "mates rates" :thumb:
I would say it will be cheap as chips then, glacier white (10L) is cheap stuff any way..
Cheers Mate. I wanted a rough price first so I know that I wouldnt be getting ripped off.
Does anyone know the best/cheapest place to get glacier white paint? cheers.

Shouldnt be too much, I got front and rear bumper and side skirts done in an aftermarket paint you cant buy for £150, so for just over half a boot lid youl be looking £60 at the most, and as balley77vaux said it's cheap paint. Pay any more and you'v been mugged off.

I work at a body shop, we'd do it for about 20-30 quid.
We have good prices though, the old place i used to work was the best bodyshop round here i think, MAJ Paints.
And theyd charge alot.
