nova gsi can not belive i managed to not notice

got a call from the body shop today to come check out my car as it was nearly ready to collect as i walked through the door i was so excited to see it that i failed to notice that he has managed to paint the whole tailgate and removed the black strip also he has colour coded the door handles (i asked for the side skirts to be colour coded which he has done .i only noticed all this just when i was showing the wife photos on my phone.i think i shall be revisting it in the morning to get the tailgate put right but will leave the door handles and if it chips in time i buy new ones.roll on next week when its buffed and polished as it looked mint today.mot to be done then im 17 again and cruising in my gsi :)

You can buy new vinyl for the tailgate can't you? So not the end of the world. Probably better than just masking off the black anyway in the long run I'd have thought?

Non colour coded handles should be easy enough to source too, at least you have a painted set too incase you ever fancy a change :)

Typical body shop. Give them anything more than a rolling shell and they just do what they want.
