View Full Version : Since the resident DJ's are quiet...
I had a bash at it: http://www.mediafire.com/?kbt919ao1yy3cak lol
First one I've ever recorded/listened back to, and as such it's poor as hell in places, certain things you don't hear as you're doing it etc, not to mention it was all done off the cuff while eating dinner lol
So, enjoy the bits in between the mixing, and Mowgli, there's even a track for you at the end!:p
Broad Spectrum Analysis (http://www.mediafire.com/?58h94lj1kvls4cu)
Decided to redeem myself a bit lol
His first redeems itself with the final two tracks - if not the mixing. lol
Just about to play the second. He's pimping them out on MSN and reading my plugins so I have to listen to it. lol

Mark says (20:57):

Liam says (20:58):

Mark says (21:13):

Liam says (21:14):

This is before I even had the file ready to go, have to listen my ass lol
annnnnnnnd the opening of the above convo:
Mark says:

Liam says:

Probably in a hardstyle mix somewhere? :p
Still listening to this, Not a bad un' something different from the usual ****e i listen to lol.
Listening to it through myself for the 2nd time now, finding more mistakes in the mixing but I'm not sure if that's just because I can hear it easier, knowing what's coming in and out?
Feel free to criticise, I am lol
Glad you're liking it Rexy :thumb: Find DnB has a somewhat strange mass appeal at times, DnB nights in clubs etc are like looking at a cross section of society at times :d Dubstep a bit less so, that's a bit more of an acquired taste lol
A few mistakes here and there, but nothing more than what i wouldnt of done. I used to mess about Bedroom Dj stylee... still got all my vinyl at home :D
I love the "show me the monkey" its awesome pisstake of "show me the money"

Yeah where is the hardstyle ! lol
& its all about Propellerhead Reason, use that to produce d&b
yeah that's an awesome tune, it has a better bassline than the original too imo, it's a shame parkers other stuff is not as good! If he produced basslines like that on more than a pisstake he'd be huge :)

Logic pro is the daddy of programs, although only available on mac. I use Ableton myself, and Reason. Theres a few others around but thats the top three.
