few more parts for sale.

twin 40 delorto's fitted on a 1300 8v nova inlet will fit other cc but unsure which. carbs recently had most the jets replaced costing around £120. missing on half of the throttle linkage :( it may be worth servicing them as they have been sat in my shed for a year or so now. [COLOR=Red]£200 posted

Updated with pictures. I'm waiting to hear back from someone about value of mbe as I have no clue myself. If you want to make an offer pm me. If it's problem there's no price someone from admin pm me and il remove it straight away and stick it on eBay. Want to offer it here first though :)

Hello pal, will the manifold bolt onto a mk1 1.4 SR engine , im interested in these carbs but not sure if the manifold will fit. Also is a new linkage aavailabe to buy somewhere so i can get it working properly?
thanks pal

i'm not sure. i have 1400 sr spare engine at home i will line them up tomorrow and see :) yeah linkages are availible. you only actually need the part that holds the cable if that makes sense so could probable make one. i had it how it is now on my rally car and was no problem but its not ideal

Ok mate , thanks :thumb: , yeah , if i got the carbs and manifold , i could either make up a linkage or buy one .... but i would still need to get the alternator lowering bracket right?
Also i would have to get them re-jetted yes?
and are they useable at the moment ?
and one last question lol .....whereare you located ... as if i decide to buy them i could pick up if it works out cheaper :thumb:
sorry for all the questions mate lol :)

To answer some of your questions Matty...

That is the correct manifold for a 1.4 SR (square ports) and unless the engine has been 'worked' then it shouldnt need re-jetting. Yes you will need a lowering bracket (and an early type alternator with the smaller pulley and fan)
