i do really like oasis i think there a great band, but beady eye was quite anticipated through the music community and i belive was a huge let down, similar to a certain 1st person shooter game ive been looking forward to getting for a year, and that was even more of a let down! COD should definatly go back to infinty ward

Oasis were good in 1995 or whenever, now they just sound dated, inlcuding their "recent" stuff. Does Mr Gallagher still sound like he did with them? If so I'll give it a miss. lol

I heard the Beady Eye song on the radio and didn't like it but I also wasn't a fan of Oasis' more recent stuff anyway, Definitely maybe and Whats the story albums will always be Brit pop favorites of mine

whats the story (morning glory) was voted the best british rock/pop album of the 90s so surely liams got something better than beady eyes first single to come out with!

it is crap... there, i said it.... it does show who actually wrote the lyrics in oasis, cos the song is poor, its got late 60's guitar, & early 60's british rock & roll, and crap words......

oasis was dismissed as a beatles rip off, but their early stuff was way better than a lot of beatles stuff.... the beatles were apparently a crap live act when they got really famous, the back room of a pub stuff was good, but not a stadium act at all, but oasis proved to be great with large venues, because their songs were actually singable by the masses.

i brought up this topic because oasis are my favourite band, however beady eye is looking dismal, liam only wrote songbird and im outta time during the 15 years they were together, no noel, no oasis, no music

Noel was the main man in Oasis, hence now he's gone leaving not a lot of talent tbh lol

Although Beady Eye aren't Oasis so im kind of glad they dont sound like them.
