just done an engine conversion into my 1litre nova,engine is a 1.4 carb from a mk2 astra.can sombody in detail tell me how to wire it or post a detailed diagram please as anyone i asked said it was easy but im such an electrical noob

basically all of the original wires from the 1.0 should fit the 1.4, as in the sender wires, starter & alternator etc.. the 1.4 coil will be needed, and you will need to run a new feed wire from the ign switch(or other places as someone will no doubt tell you) to the coil to replace the funny looking clear covered one. then the wires from the dizzy on the 1.4 need connecting to the coil from the 1.4. & it should start.

so what wire does the new feed go to the black one or the green one?

as i'm having trouble as well.

Green is rev counter iirc, connect ignition live feed to black
