Hi my names steven am 21 from cumbria and have started to build this nova to mainly do some 1/4 miles and compete at totb.
Hears whats happened so far to bring you up to speed.
I bought the car in june this year as a standard mk2 1.2 merit.
But i have no pictures of this because at the time i had no intrest really because i had my other nova.
so this is what it looked like the day i finished the conversion.

Then i wanted to get some weight out of it so decided to take every thing out the back.
When a dont this a didnt want it a mess so removed all the rubber bungs and welded the holes up then i welded the holes up for the fuel pump wires and sender wires.
Also i removed all the seat brackets and smoothed every thing, then gave it a coat of high built primer and half a litre of flame red.
Also i lengthen the sender and pump wire and fed them though the offside sunroof bung under the back light.

That was it prity much up to date to i had a bit of a play in it and the head gasket went.

and the gasket just blew in to a water way.
Had head checked all flat and no warps niether is the block and it didnt get hot when it went because i noticed it in time.
So i have ordered a head set off autovaux and my heads been sent away to be ported and polished (al post before and after pics when its back)
