dash lights and cd player and volt meter wont cum on

Hi there dose enyone have an idea what this problem is i turn the key but no. Igniton lights wont come on. And cd player wont come on. Even when i start the car but when i drive the battery light and. Fuel light come on i have put. A brand new battery in it is it a fues. Or something cheers

there is a brown earth wire behind the clocks, its fastened to the the bracket that holds the steering column, could be worth a check!
