... and ive finally got a vectra c 3.2 engine mount, for a bargain £16. it lists at £72 so well happy. now i just need the calibra v6 and f23 box....:d
anyone else waited a long time for something worth it?

so make one... lol,
stick the engine in, and cut some steel and tack, some half nuts, and weld them on,
job done. for a lot less then 16 quid as well :D
im also lazy, not called slofff fer nowt :d
edd, im going asap. fingers crossed in time for xmas. just had a few delays.

mertle, its for when im over there. i have a large shed to fill....
ben there has been one ive actually seen, 2 iuve heard of but not seen any pics etc and the one i did 3 years ago as a mock up to see what fitted where. ive been collecting bits for the past 6 months, as certain bits like the mount are not availale is aus.

how come you never finished it if you had the engine in as a mock up? and i presume the vectra mount will act as a conversion mount for the v6?

i used a combo c that had been mated by a truck up the arrse. front was fine back was 4 inches short. and yes it works perfectly as a conversion mount.
When I was last running the strip at Pod a young lad had a V6 'C'.
Just beat him :) Not slow but not epically fast either.

1 x corsa c v6 for the big doubter (rob)
nice but the cambelt end mount isnt oem, its made as it uses the corsa c rubber. and infact it looks like the powercrazy mount. looks nice though. i didnt doubt you mate, just the fact of pics or gtfo (jk)

ive got a 3.0 v6 engine for sale rob, and all the vectra x25xe loom sensors inlets sump etc, everythin u need for a fwd car. ive had it for a while but im not going to use it now plans have changed.

i did get told he couldnt sell it for what he thought it was worth. tbh it was a bodge job, it had a f20 in with cut and welded shafts and the ugliest most dodgy mounts ive seen.....
Why not use a newer v6?

x25xe or those 3.2s that come in a Vec C GSI?
the 3.2 is the z32se, its alot more complex wiring wise, but it is do-able. this is the engine ive bought the mount off. its the same as the earlier ones but bored out. the x25 is poo, its gutless and has too much egr crap.

Fair enough, I never got a proper look at the running gear.
I have seen quite a few of these. Seen a 3.2 V6 C at PV quite a few years ago circa 2005/6 possibly. Also seen a X25 XE one and a couple of "saab" powered ones!
