happy xmas 2 all. i need 2 know how do i go about an electronic boot release when i flush the tailgate of my sr in the newyear. ive heard people mention xr2i releases and stuff. what do ye fello novachums think

get one from any top spec mk3 fiesta, and button from the middle of the centre console.

theres instructions in a past redline i think, on cliftys saxo, dont know which one though.

I know someone who did it with the central locking motor from a nova!! works well and they are drt cheap from a scrappy.

I did mine with a universal locking solenoid, using a push switch and + after ignition. I`ve since wired it to my Clifford alarm which is a lot easier to use as u can lift the boot while releasing the lock. If your going to do the button method, buy a new bootlifter as well because the old one won`t have enough force to pop the boot once the lock is opened.
