Well i thought it was about time i started a little wip considering its already had an xe conversion lol, Start at the beginning bought of Ebay for £330 tax and mot drove it home as a little 1.3 8v and the alternator dies coming back up the M5, the got home changed the alternator and now it wont start . . . coil is fuked as well as a noisy wheel bearing and a rotten fuel filler neck :(

So decided i wanted some cheapy power and bout a calibra off egay for £400 tax and test drove it back from Peterborough no worries, so stripped the calibra sold some bits on and to cut a long story short her new heart is a c20xe coil pack type running f20 box and equal length shafts.

Took it to avon park and managed a 15.7 not bad really considering it only owed me £400 with tax and short MOT. So the mot is up now and was goign to sell it on but had a change of heart and decided to keep it, the xe is on egay and its either gona be a saab turbo 2.0 or 2.3 depending on what pops up etc etc and the grinder will have to come out and chop away most of the osf chassis to get it in or save up for a c20let.

So as some of you might of read in my other post i decided to buy a minimig as i havent access to a welder anymore and weld the 3 patches up taht i knew of for mot, 1 on nsf and osf slplash guards and around the petrol cap on the rear.

Some quality welding skills there. I hope your keeping it standard looking, I love standard looking but fast cars. Can't get much more sleeper than a MK2 Atra Van.

And that Calibra looked like it needed putting out of its own misery, lexus lights are rank.

You keep popping to shaky and never give us a call dude, next time do, you can pop by for a cuppa..

And it's the strangest looking thing! as it's the only 2dr estate Ive seen..

I say keep the XE and drop it in a nova!
Did you sell them wheels off the Cali?

Well a small update been out most of the day plan was to remove rear bumper and see what lurked beneath, i could see it was abit scabby but not an mot failure so i was going to leave it if i sold it but now im keeping it i got my self in for a few hours of welding fun!

The os behind the bumper had gone so out came the grinder and i started grindgin down every little patch i could see i now have about 20 little pin holes abd a large hole by the arch lip so i decided to cut out the rot and put a big patch over the top.

then the inner arch needing platin aswell so made up a few little patchs and is now all sorted at the bottom just need a patch under the arch where it looks like its had a new outer arch fitted but not welded to the inner skin underneath tutututut so now got to do that but me ga ran out :(
