its lowerd by 40m and im runniong a f16 and 2.0 cv joint and propper shaft im lost my second one just gone to night the same one :(

Are you wheelspinning alot on lock etc? Many of us on here are running XE's with most probabily the same C.V's an probabilt never broken 1 let alone 2?

i pull away slow it 1st and then give it some in 2nd and so on but not wheelspinning on lock cuz have trouble keeping it in a strait line lol

or get some decent second hand gm ones. i take it you're not too low and everything is mounted correctly?

Probably nothing do with the cv joints themselves. Unless there just mega cheap/faulty pattern ones or something.
Engine mount or something is probably letting the shafts move around a lot, stressing the cv's.
I assume youve got the gearbox spacers fitted etc?

Ive never broke a cv on mine.

what engine are you running?

John i think hes running an XE mate.

Dave beety, the xe engines normally come with f20 boxes but some will have been changed for the f16 from the 2lt 8v but you can run either or the f18 if you wish.

going to try new cv joint to moz hope a new one from gm will help :)

phoned up vauxhall to day to get a price 139+vat but dont have them any more :( but phoned up a parts shop to they wont 35+vat :)

after looking over the car to see what was making my inner cv joint go on the n/s it was the front engine mount thourt i put it in the right place but it was in the 2nd hole on the mount so all i have to do now is get a inner cv now :)
