Fuel pump relay, fuse, maybe crank sensor.
Check all earths are good etc.
id go with earths...it might be worth adding a few extra earth straps

have you got compression?
have you got compression?
yeah,
ive come to the conclusion its the cank sensor because it tried starting now and again or just bangs out of the exhaust.
got a corsa single point one for free but it doesnt fit!!!
ive just changed the crank sensor and it still wont start!!
only other thing it can be is the ecu.
would an ecu spark at the wrong time ?
i thought it would just stop working alltogether.....

i had the same problem with mine i had put a brand new fuel pump on and wouldnt start no matter what i did in the end it was the brand new fuel pump that was a fault.whenever it was checked it was pumpin fuel but it had like burnt out as i put another new one on and it fired 1st time and as worked ever since. could be worth checking that:thumb:

have you got your leads on the right way?

they all had a spark when out of the bores but when under compresion no spark!
swapped for some $hity ngk ones i found, fired straight up!
bosch spark plugs FTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cheers everyone for the help :thumb:
No point buying anything exotic. The standard Vx ones are more than fine for this motor and cheap on trade.
FWIW I run the standard 2 prong Vx ones in the 1.6 16v and have never had a problem.
Glad you got sorted though!
