is there a website that you can find out how much mot is on a car

the reason being is that just bought a car and the guy said its got 11 months but carnt the mot doc so just woulderd if i could find this out all help would but greatful

Had to do this myself for my Celica recently, and of course its MOT was due within a week, leaving me little time to sort it out:

At a guess, I think the closest you can do is check it's previous MOT history on the DVLA site (will dig out link) and assuming it has been retsted on time you could work it out from there. Or take the V5 to an MOT station and have a reprint done.
