has any one try to change the cold vent in the center of the dast to a hot vent?:confused:

No. Always blows cold. Could try linking it to the others to get hot air, but is it worth the bother? Just leave it shut!!

i assume its a mk1. i fitted a set of side vents from a scrapper to mine, you just need to cut out the holes in the heater. it takes less than an hour to do

its a mk2 mate got the side ones just wonted to no if you can make the center ones

anything is possible with some ducting redesign, but i don't think anyone has seriously tried it before

Remove the centre bit and there's a plastic part that sits on top of the matrix. I imagine it's possible to modify this to make them all blow hot, although it may reduce the force of the air coming out the vents?

Those centre cool vents are very useful even in the winter.

Trust me I once had a fairly long drive back, shut the centre vents and had the system to HOT to de-mist the windows and keep my feet warm. After about 30 mins I started sweating and felt as if I were in a sauna. Those vents helped make things much more comfortable by allowing a bit of fresh air in.

Yea thay are good as my heaters are stuck on hot lol
so i have to have the centre vents on or i melt
