nikita the nova SR

hi all, this will be my project thread for the new nova, since i wrote off the old sr :(
this one is a black 1990 1.4SR which has all major welding already done (arches, boot floor, battery tray, chassis leg) and i have a mound of reciepts and service history.
plans are to get the front end lower, paint the wheels white maybe put a white pin stripe on the bumpers? tidy up the paint and bodywork and then start to improve the engine maybe a 1.3 head and inlet.
what do you think?

its the 1.4 8v, yeh white wheels should look really cool
is anyone good with photoshop? if so could they make it have black wheels, then white, with the white pinstripe

what the turbo 1.4? yeh abit but it seems it needs mpi to work

I wouldn't change that colour scheme one bit. Well other than getting the grill and mirrors colour coded black too. The gold wheels are a real nice 80's look, like the Smokey and the Bandit car. And a red pin stripe on a black Nova with those bumpers is perfect.

When ever he fixes it in time for Trax it only lasts the day of the show and then something else seems to break on it - Gutted for him as he a good mate who has nothing but head aches with it

Looks good mate, something about black Nova's. Sort out the bodywork, re-spray in same colour and it'll look sweet.

small update, fitted the 3 spokes and painted the gill black looks better now, getting a mk2 dash to fit soon and looking around for a set of front collies and rear springs :)

small update, fitted the mk2 dash which wasnt too bad, but for some reason my headunit keeps going into "AMP GUARD" now when it never did this before.....
and the little clip on the heater cable snapped :(

i fitted some clear rears and my new wheels, fitting my 4 branch at the weekend aswell :)

also gave it a good mop at the weekend needs a respray ideally.
