few probs

got a few probs wiv my 1.2 spi engine. firstly, when started, she revs to 2000 RPM but then corrects itself afta 3 seconds or so. also, the power delivery has started jumping if that makes sense, and the engine has cut out (not stalled) twice in the past 5 minutes of driving. theres also a rattling and hissing noise when i change gear.

ive got induction, ecotek valve, ht leads, performance plugs....cud it b any of these?

could be fuel starvation

the revving to 2000rpm is because its chucking in loads of fuel to attempt to cure the stall and when u restart it its using this "enriched" map till it realises and turns fuelling back down

mine did this if i attempted to start it with my fuel pump kill switch still enabled - it would run for a few secs then die and on restarting it would revv like f00k

da thing is, it is revving to 2000 every time i start it, not just after it cuts out. i cannay drive it coz it could cut out. odd
