1.2 carb on to 1.4

right if the carb on my 1.4 is fukt then wat wud it do if i put the 1.2 carb on with inlet manifold thing?? make it go slower?? ALso how difficult wud twin webbers b to fit??

Im almost certain it would make it go slower because on a 1.2 its a pierburg 1b1 carb with a single choke, and on a 1.4 it will be a pierburg 2e3 carb with a twin choke. Also the 1b1 carb will be jetted to put in much less fuel than the 2e3. The 2e3 has an automatic choke and the 1b1 has a manual choke. As far as i know, twin webbers arnt that hard to fit.

1.2 carb will make the car run very lean (not enough petrol) and wont do your engine any good!!
