i am restoring my gsi which is totally standard but is thinking of putting speedlines on it and to the point should i or not. also would like some feedback on price been offered a set with near new tyres but no centre caps for 300 notes.how hard is it to get replacements. cheers guys and look forward to posting pics of said car next week on its return from the body shop :)

That was how they came, I got them from prodrive years ago and at that time i think they were the sole importer. I did buy the black speedline badges but never got round to changing them. That nova is in bits now.

Thank you. Do want you want mate but not sure if I'd pay 300 for them without caps! Unless they are as new with real good tyres. Apparently you can buy caps for 35-45 quid but that's still going to take you to 480 plus badges! Then you'd be aswell as getting brand new from wheelbase for around £600 iirc, least you'll know they're not buckled etc

Speedlines look ace on mk2 novas. IMO there's no doubting that!!

Just because there so common doesn't make them look ****. I'd go for it if I were you, can allways change them if you can't take the aggro from the anti speedline brigade.

The silk violet gsi in this thread is gorgeous, can't say as I've seen a silk violet nova in years!!
