Whay radiator

Hello people got a 1.2 saloon which is having a red top put in at the weekend what radiator do I need to use

You want either 90136753 or 90298318 - the latter is the thicker of the two, but its smaller. For road use, either should be fine, but if you're going to be driving it hard on track or whatever you might prefer the larger/thinner one.

i ran a well old rusty used 1.2 rad that i picked up for a fiver wile at the national day weekend meet after me a spud blew up the 1.6 rad.
It worked fine and that was on my track nove with near to 200bhp and was even used for a track day with it and was fine..

I don't think you HAVE to, the fittings are the same and I'm almost certain people have run the smaller radiator on XE's with no problems [edit] point proven lol

Its just the 90136828 thats duff as it has outlets in the wrong place.

One thing to bear in mind though, is that people may say "the 1.2 one" - all three sizes were fitted to 1.2's at some point, so thats a bit of a misnomer lol

if the engine is fine it should be alright imho but like Jack sad if you get the 1ltr rad both outlets are on 1 side fail..
