no idea, we send it to Pall (the filter people) and its machined. ill get a pic of what i think it may be made into, we had a load of rejects back as there were something like .5mm short

one filter case thing. we go through about 4-6 tonnes of this size bar every 2-3 months.

Parting off tool in a lath or recipricating/band saw.

cuts upto 100mm

the stainless was about 35s a cut with the blade rotating at 50rpm
