Is there such thing as early and late c20let?

On an c20xe its simple to tell because one runs coilpack and other is dizzy but how do you know if a c20let is early or late and what is the difference between them?

Also, has anyone got any pics round and square tooth cambelt setup?

iirc the lat elet has differnt crank and block castings, apart from that, fook all else. as for belts, its self explanatory.

before putting the engine in my car we changed the cambelt but the motor factors we got the belt from are retards

so now I'm thinking what happens if they gave us the wrong belt, I don't want it to slip when we first start it!

the let i sold a short while ago was a 20LET (thats what was stamped on the engine in the normal place)
im guessing it was an early one, but had no idea they did early ones!

20xe was the GTE engine, muct of been reblocked at a guess.

as for belts the early set up is round tooth and the later is sqaure...if you fitted it you would know if its the right toothed belt atleast
