IIRC most put indicators in the front bumper.

could i put oval side indicators on the bumper and tap off the front indicators?

also been told if i do this it will change the curent and the indicators will flash fast as if a bulb is out?

thanks :thumb:

I used Golf/Polo indicators in mine. So no resistance issues. You can buy off the shelf resistors though.

Inner lamp is for high beam, outer is for dipped usually, but as you have H4 in the outers you can just run with those. I wouldn't put the indicator IN the headlamp unit, as you won't see it flash when the headlamp is on.

have you got a pic of your indicators jack? are they small?

i take it they run the same size bulb as normal indicators?

the inners have been removed n had black mesh fitted for a air feed (chaving it)

thanks :)

Not overly small no. About 6" x 2", and 2" deep, but they were the best for the Nova though in terms of style and dimensions - not sure they'd suit a Corsa. Your best bet is to look around at other cars and see what you can get to fit that suits the lines of the corsa

Same bulb as the indicators so no voltage issues. Also came with sidelight bulbs tapped in so meant I didn't have to drill the Morette lamps (= rust) and allowed more room for fitting the BMW ones.

iv got morettes on my corsa b at the moment and i put the indicators in my grill on either side of the vauxhall badge :thumb: i was thinking of wiring my indicators into my foglights or the inner bulbs on the morettes but decided not to as i wanted all of the lights working as they should, hope this helps

you need to have 2 of the 21w bulbs as a minimum on each side. if you have fitted a 5w in the front, it is illegal from a light intensity point of view & as there isn't so much resistance on the circuit, the flasher will work way faster, in the same way as a blown bulb works.

there is a way of fixing it with resistors.. ring a decent truck spares place & ask them if they do resistors for a 12v led indicator. but it won't be legal

You can also buy replacement indicator relays to slow the flash, but as Mowgli said you ideally want a 21W bulb in there!
