next time soak them in wd40 for a few days (difficult with engine running) but keep squirting it when stopped) and if they won't budge, try tightening them slightly first, and also tapping the bolt heads with a hammer, if they still don't budge, then its time for heat.....

but not overtightening them in the first place is the best. so many garages are guilty of that.

I've only ever had a problem with the multi-splines stripping not the bolts snapping

One thing that gets me, whats spraying the bolt head with WD40 acheive?
Theres no way its going to get to the actual thread and help free it off because its bolted tight into the pully (in this case...)
All's ive ever found it do is oil the bolt head meaning tools slip off lol lol

Of course with a bolt/nut its different.

Nah, but i did get the originals out without rounding them, engine was out of the car though which always helps.

wd40 uses capillary action to get into the tiniest holes, as the underside of the bolt head is not going to be perfectly flat, so some gets in & every little helps
