how well does this stick to monkey metal?
can it be shapes with a demal?
it will be spining around at about 20 times a second hitting a peg, will it last for about 10,000 turns ?

hmm, ive used it for many things, hole in rad, holding speedo cable in...but never something that impacts it...and i believe it can be shaped yes.

well the part its going to replace has worn down and not hitting the peg now, so i need to extend it,

I would say not, everything i've used it for, it's never worked it's more for plugging holes i think rather than stress related work.

What he said. ^

Wouldnt fancy risking it on a major moving part.

If you use the chemical metal in the tube that you squash together with your fingers id say its propably strong enough if it isn under alot of stress, cos its really strong. but i think itll eventually break again

Yes it can be drilled/filed/sanded.
And yeah it is mega hard, but it will wear down if it was in contact with something repeatedly IMO.

I used JB Weld on a sump and it's been fine for years. It wont stand up to and stress though.

i refaced a fertiliser spreader gearbox shaft with chemical metal & it spins at 1000 rpm with an oil seal on it & doesn't leak.....

a pic of the object would help a lot nick
