As well as being busy with the Mk2 road car I bought a few weeks ago, I'm also working on re-shelling a well abused autotest car (with help from a mate of my Dad’s while I’m at uni)!

Got hold of a pretty decent rolling shell, stripped it of under seal then had it shot-blasted and primered. Slowly collecting bits to go on the new car...

On with the chopping out at the moment, it'll be getting the same paint as the nova rally car next to it fairly soon. I'll get some more up to date pics when I'm next home.

Thanks! Were you doing it in a red mk2 and had a problem with your steering rack? Been going pretty good yeah but I've been without a car months, had to resort to using my road car for one the other week!

I'm at Oxford Brookes doing Motorsport Engineering

Right next to Headington campus.

My 'years' are all over the place Connor due to modular format and failing a module year before last, doing year 2/3 modules in my 4th year at uni, due to foundation year first. Graduate next year.

Time wise it will be a massive struggle, and I have seen very good students fail modules left right and centre trying to keep up FS commitments too. I'd drop in this year while it's quite slow paced/easy tbh as it's going to be a pretty interesting year ;)
