Please Help!

My 1.3SR head gaskett has blown. I'm struggling to find a 1.3SR head.
Are the 1.3SR valves & cam lobes bigger or better than that of a 1.2?? If not, can the valves be grinded into the 1.2 head making it an SR? Urgent response required!!! Need to get to work 2moro!! :cry:

provided the head isnt warped all you need to do is replace the head gasket. job done

I know that, but can we use a 1.2 one? It may be possible that the head is cracked so can I use the 1.3SR valves in the 1.2 head?

as far as im aware the valves are the same size. and also the 1.2 head is flowed better. erm if the 1.2 head taht you ahve already has the vlalves etc in jsut fit the head, then put your cam in (with its original followers in the right palce)

the early model 1.3sr head is exactly the same as the 1.2 head apart from a slightly larger cut out know as the "piston crown" The 1.2 head will increase compression of your 1.3sr.

Will work perfectly.
