rear lights prob

Rear drivers side light bust but brake light still works changed bulb nothing still checked fuse worked for a fue seconds blone fuse, only brake still working!! Now befor I go threw wireing is ther a commom place for a shortage or a common fault? Its on a nova saloon so any help and everything els works fine!! Cheers

its down to age... check the rear loom, and clean up the bulb holder & give it some wd40.
