Don't know if this will work for you but on my 1988 1300 sr i have a cover plate over the area you would normally have the choke, i always thought it would be handy for concealing a switch or possibly the immobiliser touch plate for a cat1 alarm, might work for you.
Also what version, mk1 or mk2 do you have as interiors obviously differ

If you have a mk1 use one of the switches that look like the rear wiper/ rear fog switches, work a treat.

I know someone who took his cig lighter out and put one there, can't find a picture of the type of switch he used though, i'll keep looking.
being serious for a moment, i really can't imagine too many people who have kill switches will be posting on here about where they have them.....

Kill switch will either need to be somewhere very hidden and having a normal type of switch, which you can easily flick on off or having one in a easier reach but one that is lockable/secured.
Would be a bit pointless putting up where on a public forum tbh.
Put it anywhere you like basically.

Just don't put it somewhere were your likely to knock it when driving. Plenty of hiding places when you think about it, and you don't need to use a big obvious switch either.
/\ i know that one... i went on a rally experience day, and when giving an astra gsi 16v hell, i changed up & hit the kill switch.....

A lot of people have that problem when they put vertical hydraulic handbrakes in rally cars!
