nova quick shift issues?

I have purchased a quick shift from rally design and fiited nylon bushes.Now i had to grind the bushes back so it would slide into it's mount.Then the front to back movement is very limited and the linkage is also flat but i think it should have a kink in it.Any body else experienced this problem?

I know this is a strange question, but how long from end to end it the quickshift linkage? A friend wants to know if theres one on his car or not, sorry I couldn't help you!

AAaaaaahhhh fcuking linkage!!! Right ihave taken the old one back as it was flat and my old one had a kink in it.I know have the corsa one which has the kink in it but the balls are 2 mm bigger and won't fit in the cups.:(Please help someone??

lol Yes but it wouldn't even move enough to actually shift gears.

you sure its been set-up correctly..? - threaded bar's are the right length and so on..

Just bend it. Mine was flat when I first fitted it, I wasn't happy with it so I took it out and bent it, refitted and was fine.
