Spare wheel tyre for SR

Hi does anyone know what the original spare wheel tyre was on a 1991 SR?
The one on mine is Michelin MXM but I think the spare should be MXL?
Anyone know for definate what it was???

the tyre will have a date mark stamped on it,have a look for it and that may help? its 4 numbers together, the 1st 2 will be the week it was made and the last 2 will be the year. as its a 91sr im guessing you have a 165-65-14 as a spare?

Iirc pov spec novas all came with Michelin MX's and SR's and up came with MXL's:thumb:

Cheers lads. The spare on my car is actually MXT and still has the yellow line on the tread so must be the tyre that was on the steel from new. So i'm guessing if you didnt upgrade to alloys when buying a SR, all 4 steels came with Michelin MXT's?
