need some recomendations for a good quality digi camera that i can leave in the garage so i havent got to remember to take one with me if i ever need to take a picture of anything. something thats going to take half decent quality photos

Get a phone with a 5meg camera and then its everywhere you go!

This seems a decent enough camera for a starter, obviously if your in the garage you'll probably get oil on in so you won't want a mega expensive one I'd of thought. CLICKY (http://www.dabs.com/products/kodak-easyshare-c182-camera-bundle-75P6.html) and you get a 2gb SD card and a case woooooo :d

the wife has a Sony erikson C901 with built in 12mp Sony cybershot camera with xenon flash, the picture quailty for a camera phone is amazing,

Failing that I use a compact Olympus 3.2 mp camera, does the job.

Looks ideal not too expensive either. might have a look for one like that today

anything over 8 megapixel off ebay. i have a cheap nettos one that cost 40 quid. its battered and oily but takes ace pix, its a praktika iirc...

We have a couple of these at work, ideal for workshop/dirty environment and takes decent pictures, alway found Fuji camera are good, for a non profesionallol

They are waterproof apparently
