I paid £350 for a complete coscast head off a running turbo with all the cams, lifters etc just depends how much you want to pay. I have an old coscast head here that come off my turbo.

ive got one spare to sell with all the valves and lifters minus the cams so looking for a price for it just wonderd whats its worth

To be fair wished i just bought a gm head rather than coscast but to late now! would of been cheaper.

How much does the porous mod cost to do ? (not sure whats even done lol)

there is,looks as though people have finally woke up to the fact theyre no better!
Porous mod-2 ways-internal and external both reasonably cheap with the internal being cheaper of the 2

get it sold like am gna do , but was also thinking could it be fitted to my let engine as its off an xe ?

No better than a gm head.Paying for the name,nothing elseagree, i use gm heads, and trust me, if its built propley it will last as long, people who know me know how i use the track rat, and its still a good runner after proper thrashing day in day out!!

i suppose it depends on where you sell it, on here folk know better and just fix the gm head, on ebay you get the loooooooooooooookkkk a cosycast heid, quick buy it for eleventy thousand pounds, they be muppets willing to buy it there, imo reserve of 200

I thought lets and only very early Xe's were the same because of the sodium valves only??

not in all cases, my 20 xe is from a 89 astra gte but not a coscast head,

no,my astra gte xe was gm,and my cav sri 1993 was coscast,can vary

A lot of the late dis cavs and callys also had the coscast head.

Early Astra gte xe's had forged internals and the sodium valves as found in the let
