As above, every time i turn the Nova off and back on, the stereo loses its memory, its a Kenwood KDC-W4544U unit

Been told that the yellow and red lives may need to be swapped around? so they swap colours if that makes sense?

Any help appreciated :thumb:

it obviously hasn't got a permanent live.

It will have 2 wires, one needing a permanent live to maintain the memory and a switched live off ignition

Just connect both to live... but remember to turn it off/remove faceplate when you leave the car!

Answer: Don't spill fuel then :d

Mind you, I've not managed to blow up my rolling petrol leak/oil slick of a Nova yet. Plenty of time left though lol

erm WTF!!!! there will be a mini loom between the headunit and the ISO connectors, the red and yellow wires will have bullet connectors on them to let them be swapped over etc.

I'd advise NOT to touch the wiring on the car side of things.
