nova gear linkage fell apart, HELP

right so i changed gear tonight (VERY BADLY)

and the little piece that goes between the two ball joint thingys fell clean out :(

whats the easiest way to put this back on?
do i need to drop the box out of it??

That straight plastic bar? Look at the rosejointing guide on here and replace it with threaded bar and two rosejoints.

mines not actually plastic though
its metal
but with the two plastic bits at either end...
tar for the rose joint idea though :D

If your looking for a cheap simple fix, just replace it lol. It is most likly just worn, My corsa one was the same.

i remember buying that linkage from vauxhall years ago, over 200 quid it cost !!

yeah i think i'm just gonna try force it on tomorrow morning
will i need to drop the box out to do it though?
