3k's a lot for me so dont want to spend it on something i'm not sure about,

Nice one cheers :) Can see a bit of bubbling on rear arches and sills dont look the best but not too bad. Cant decide between a fast let or a mint xe..

You can get a stunning Xe for £2500, and then build into a let at your lesuire, and you know the engine wont be out within the first week of owning it lol

I rather spend 2K (maybe more) on a mint XE rather than 2.9K on a dog LET

All the nice LET Novas I've seen seem to go for 4K+

Isnt the first one the GTE rep, the one who bought that supposed brand new F20 gearbox and fitted it in the drift car pit area at PVS last year, still declared as a 1.2 aswell iirc!

I was in the same boat as you, do i buy a nice spec xe or a let lol
i ended up buying a Let nova with spare engine for 2k Bargain imo

But the problems ive had with it since owning has pissed me off but it will all be worth it in the end.

Is a very tidy shell though and had the welding done already ( battery tray and a patch on the arch behind the sideskirt)

Think im going to buy a cheap runabout for a year and save that bit more and see what's about this time next year. want a nova badly but i think if i bought a cheap rotbox (£600 or less) it'd put me off spending 3-4k on another ? and when i get one i want it to be as good as possible and i've been looking and if i can free that extra bit of cash up it'll be worth the wait. can pick corsa b's up cheap with full t&t and mods..
