Hi all,

I have a 2ltr redtop on 40's widearch trackcar and the rad has sprung a small leak, I don't want to waste time trying to seal it, so I'm going to get a new one.

From what I have seen they seem to be about £70 new, however for £140 delivered you can get one of those TX Autosport Alloy rad's off ebay..

Anyone got one? Any issues? Are they worth the extra?

Thanks.

Stick a thread in wanted. Someone might have one. Infact i think Spanishfly has one for sale...

Cheers pete, not really looking to buy a 2nd hand rad, as it's only a track car, and it costs a fair bit to do the track days I'd rather not risk it.

You get Valeo/Nissens alloy-core radiators but they still have the plastic sides. Yeah Benn had a TxAutosport one and rates it highly.

Plenty of track cars on here run standard rads.
